HM The King Appoints Several Walis And Governors

Rabat – HM King Mohammed VI received, on Friday at the Royal Palace in Rabat, several Walis and Governors whom the Sovereign appointed in the territorial and central administration of the Interior Ministry.

Here follows the list of the Walis and Governors nominated by HM the King:

Walis of the Central Administration:
– Mohamed Rherrabi, Wali, Managing director of Interior Affairs at the Interior Ministry.
– Ibrahim Boufous, Wali, attaché at the central administration of the Interior Ministry.
– Mohamed Halab, Wali, attaché at the central administration of the Interior Ministry.

Walis at the Territorial Administration:

– Mohamed Boussaid, Wali of the Grand Casablanca region, Governor of the prefecture of Casablanca. – Ahmed Moussaoui, Wali of the Meknes-Tafilalet region, Governor of the prefecture of Meknes.

– Mohamed Mhidia, Wali of the Oriental region, Governor of the prefecture of Oujda-Angad.

– Idriss Khazani, Wali of the Gharb-Chrarda-BniHssen region, Governor of the province of Kenitra.

On this occasion, the newly appointed Walis and Governor took oath before HM the King.

These Royal appointments are part of the strengthening of good territorial governance and nearby administration aiming to enable state bodies to carry out their missions with efficiency and competence in order to support projects that the different Moroccan regions are seeing.

This audience took place in presence of Interior Minister Mohand Laenser, Minister Delegate at the Interior Minister Charki Draiss, and HM the King’s Chamberlain, Brahim Frej.
