Morocco has been ranked second in Africa, behind continental economic powerhouse South Africa, in terms of Foreign Direct Investments (FDIs) in 2011, according to “FDI Intelligence”, a Rabat-based subsidiary of the Financial Times Limited.

”The fact that the Alaoui Kingdom comes just after 154-project South Africa and is ahead of 55-project Kenya, as it has attracted another 70 projects in 2011, is a proof of the growing confidence foreign investors have in the business climate of Morocco,” the report says.
